About the Role:We are looking for a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to our adult and geriatric clients in their homes. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating clients with various physical disabilities, including intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical abilities and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions to improve clients' mobility and function.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities to promote independent living.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately and efficiently.
- A current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
