Job Title: Mold Setter

We are seeking a skilled Mold Setter to join our team at KRAMSKI North America, Inc. in Largo, FL.

Job Summary:

The Mold Setter will be responsible for setting plastic injection molds, analyzing and troubleshooting molding machines, and maintaining automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plastics processing and experience working with Engel, Arburg, and Krauss Maffei molding machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set plastic injection molds and ensure proper alignment and calibration
  • Analyze and troubleshoot molding machines to optimize production efficiency
  • Maintain automation equipment and integrate it into the molding process
  • Perform regular maintenance on mold machines and document maintenance activities
  • Inspect and test in-process and final products using precision measuring equipment
  • Operate and control equipment to eliminate defects and optimize production
  • Review procedures and work instructions to identify areas for improvement
  • Participate in company problem-solving teams to continuously improve manufacturing operations
  • Meet established production and delivery targets
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors during shift changes
  • Perform emergency shutdown procedures and work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Vocational training or secondary education with an emphasis on molding and plastic processing
  • Proven understanding of plastics processing and experience with mold setting and job start-up
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced organization handling multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Experience working with Engel, Arburg, and Krauss Maffei molding machines
  • 3-5 years of experience in mold setting
