About the Role:

Daikin Applied is seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team in support of HVAC development programs. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in installing, testing, calibrating, and repairing electromechanical and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing and calibration procedures per company standards in support of HVAC development programs as directed.
  • Set up standard and special purpose laboratory instrumentation to test and evaluate HVAC equipment.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and modify systems to support extensive R&D programs with direction from senior staff members.
  • Proactively engage in safe working habits following applicable standards.
  • Support technical center initiatives by assisting with projects as assigned.
  • Maintain effective communication with project team to assure performance of duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent loss.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years of related work experience is required.
  • Two-year technical degree in a related field is preferred.
