Clinical Pharmacist I
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Christus Health. This is a per diem opportunity that will provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in various settings, including inpatient and ambulatory care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares and dispenses drug orders according to established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Interprets drug orders and maintains accurate patient medication records
- Provides pharmaceutical care services, including compounding and dispensing medications, managing patient drug therapy, and providing patient education
- Participates in quality improvement and medication use review activities of the department
- Attends interdisciplinary rounds and provides services efficiently and in a timely fashion
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or BS Pharmacy degree required
- Hospital experience preferred
- Pharmacy registration in the State of practice
- Must have pharmacy State licensure within 60 days of start date
- BLS or ACLS and PALS (pediatric practice) within 180 days of start date
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
