Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality web applications using Java.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop web applications using Java, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Work with minimum supervision to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and frameworks, and apply this knowledge to improve our existing applications and develop new ones.
  • Implement security measures to protect our web applications and services from threats.
  • Work individually or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of IT experience, with a strong background in Java development.
  • 5+ years of experience in J2EE development, with a focus on web applications and Oracle databases.
  • 3+ years of experience with Struts 1.x framework, Spring Framework, and JBoss Application Server.
  • 2+ years of experience with ANT scripting, Maven, and reporting tools like Jasper Reports.
  • 3+ years of experience with Java scripting, XML technologies, and UNIX shell scripting.
  • 4+ years of experience with implementing web services using SOAP and REST.
  • 3+ years of experience with version control tools like CVS and GIT.
  • 3+ years of experience with JUnit and other testing frameworks.
  • 4+ years of experience with SUN Solaris.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with a strong background in Java development.
  • 2+ years of experience with JBoss Drools rule engine and micro-services.
  • 4+ years of experience with implementing design patterns and caching technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience with Angular JS, Jquery, and EAP 7.X performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery environments using Jenkins.
  • Experience with Selenium testing.
Education
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field is preferred.
