Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a pediatric intensive care setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in a NICU setting
  • Administer therapeutic gases, aerosolized medications, and bronchial hygiene procedures
  • Monitor and maintain ventilator settings and noninvasive monitoring
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements:
  • IL license
  • 2 years' experience in pediatric respiratory care
  • BLS and PALS certifications
  • CRT certification
  • Meditech experience required
  • Teaching Hospital experience required
  • Community Hospital experience required
  • LTAC experience required
  • Electronic Documentation required
  • Previous Charge experience preferred
  • Trauma Level I & II experience preferred
  • RRT preferred
