About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Program Manager to join our Apple AIML organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving highly cross-functional projects that leverage innovative machine learning technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Build and run project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology to communicate status. Handle risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements around a privacy-focused approach to data collection and evaluation vital to launch and maintain premier Apple software products.
  • Data Collection and Evaluation: Work with instrumentation, data science, and data engineering teams to develop data collection and evaluation solutions.
  • Measurement and Evaluation: Work with dynamic cross-functional engineering teams to optimize and lead measurement and evaluation efforts.
  • Data Safety: Work with engineering, privacy, and legal teams to develop safe data collection.
  • Long-term Evaluation Solutions: Work with research teams to develop long-term evaluation solutions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in driving large-scale programs building machine learning-powered products.
  • Excellent program management skills, including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently.
  • Strong analytical skills and a curiosity to peel the onion to discover opportunities for impact and better user experience.
  • Capability to work across a large number of teams to enforce process and efficient outcomes in a data-driven environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
  • BS/MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent.
Compensation and Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
