Pace Analytical Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scientist I to join our team in the wet chemistry department of our environmental testing laboratory.
As a Scientist I, you will be responsible for performing and overseeing projects, facilitating and supporting the analysis, administration, and oversight of air, water, and soil samples using standard chemistry and biochemistry policies, programs, and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Project Facilitation and Oversight: Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Sample Analysis and Administration: Conduct laboratory tests and procedures, maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of all work.
- Instrument Maintenance and Calibration: Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to work in a laboratory or office setting, remain standing for long periods, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples.
