Mission / Summary: The Production Service Worker is responsible for filling temporary vacancies within the Mill area or other assigned locations. This role requires maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flexibility to be assigned to various roles for training purposes.
  • Ensure adequate supply levels for the paper machine and maintain cleanliness in manufacturing areas.
  • Perform labor-intensive tasks in the Mill area or other designated locations.
  • Consistently practice safety and housekeeping techniques in line with established rules and standards.
  • Utilize various production and shipping systems effectively.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or mill operations is highly preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret information sheets is essential.

Schedule Requirements:

  • Must adhere to the plant's rotating shift schedule, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
  • Willingness to cover for absent colleagues and work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
  • Capable of reading from screens and other electronic devices.
  • Must be able to lift and move equipment, materials, and tools weighing up to 50 lbs consistently throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and fluctuating temperature environments.
