Job Summary

The CT Technologist PRN is responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures using ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and position patients on the CT table
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
  • Prefer graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology
  • Must be Registered ARRT with RT(R) and CT registration required
  • BCLS required upon hire
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning
  • On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call-back
