Concrete Mixer Driver

As a Ready Mix Truck Driver at CEMEX, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of DOT driving regulations and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Safely drive the ready-mix truck to and from destinations, adhering to DOT regulations and area road conditions.
• Check loads to ensure proper and safe transportation of concrete products.
• Estimate the slump of concrete and distinguish between proper and improper mixes.
• Verify delivery instructions with plant personnel to ensure accurate delivery to customers and job sites.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to maximize opportunities for CEMEX.
• Maintain equipment in good condition, adhering to CEMEX's safety standards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on truck equipment and supplies.
• Assist other company employees as needed.

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A or B)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Acceptable CSA
• MVR with no DUIs or DWIs in the last 5 years, no more than 3 moving violations in the previous 3 years
• High School diploma, preferred

Continuous exposure to extreme heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors. Must wear protective equipment while at the location.

Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree. Heavy Work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
