Groupe Leclerc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of prevention and ensuring a healthy and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
- Conduct regular site visits to identify potential hazards and provide guidance to supervisors and employees.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and monitor annual action plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in risk assessments, audits, and investigations to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors and employees on health and safety best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure a culture of prevention.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as occupational health and safety or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of applicable U.S. laws and regulations, including OSHA 30 training.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
