Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical duties in designated specialty areas, including obtaining histories, performing physical exams, making assessments, and ordering tests.
  • Record patient information accurately and concisely, managing time effectively to ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Consult with supervising physicians and refer patients as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on self-management, follow-up, and compliance with established treatment plans.
  • Support interdisciplinary collaboration to promote continuous quality care and positive health outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
  • Licensure and registration requirements as per Medical Staff Bylaws and Credentialing Policies/Procedures.
