- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments while closely monitoring patient responses to ensure effective care.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly check and document vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate, and promptly report any significant changes.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and therapists, to coordinate and enhance patient care plans.
- Patient Education: Provide valuable information to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices.
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly in emergency situations, such as cardiac arrest, implementing necessary interventions.
- Confidentiality Maintenance: Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license are essential. Previous experience in progressive care or critical care settings is preferred.
