Firefighter Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter Paramedic to join our team at the City of Richland Fire Department. As a Firefighter Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services, fire suppression, and hazardous materials response to protect the community and its assets.

• Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
• Operate fire apparatus and equipment to suppress fires and rescue people
• Participate in training exercises to maintain and improve skills
• Collaborate with other emergency responders to ensure effective response to emergencies
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment and vehicles

• Washington State or National Registry Paramedic certification
• Current CPAT certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Eighteen years of age or older

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fire Science or Fire Administration
• Prior experience as a firefighter or emergency medical technician
• IFSAC Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations certifications
• Wildland Firefighter II certification
