We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/EMT to join our team at Nassau County, FL. As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for performing fire suppression duties, providing emergency medical treatment, and responding to emergency calls.

• Perform fire suppression duties, including operating fire equipment and laying hose.
• Provide emergency medical treatment, including EMT and basic life support.
• Respond to emergency calls, assess patient condition, and make decisions regarding proper courses of action.
• Maintain radio communications with dispatch center, hospital personnel, and other public safety agencies.
• Participate in employee training programs and present fire prevention programs to public groups.
• Perform daily supply and equipment inventory, restock equipment, and clean and decontaminate equipment after use.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• State of Florida Firefighter II, EMT, and Basic Life Support certifications.
• Valid State class E driver's license and EVOC certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make sound decisions, and communicate effectively with team members and the public.
