About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team at Franciscan Digestive Care Associates, part of The Center for Digestive Health at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.

Responsibilities
  • Practice as a general gastroenterologist in the Tacoma Metro Area and affiliated regional hospitals
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Participate in shared call responsibilities and contribute to the growth and development of the department

The Center for Digestive Health is a destination program for the care of patients with digestive health concerns. Our team of over 80 clinicians in gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery provides over 76,000 clinic visits, 55,000 endoscopic procedures, and 9,000 surgeries annually across Virginia Mason Franciscan Health locations.

Requirements
  • Board certification in gastroenterology
  • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority
