We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Heartland Veterinary Partners LLC. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians.

• Assist veterinarians in the practice of veterinary medicine and surgery, including outpatient exams, patient preparation, and laboratory testing.
• Provide basic animal handling and restrain animals during exams, administer and monitor medications, anesthesia, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
• Clean and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and lab spaces, restock supplies, and assist team members in maintaining public areas.
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians, practice team members, and clients to ensure seamless patient care and client satisfaction.

• State license to work as a certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician in the state of desired employment.
• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds, with assistance for heavier loads.
• Practice OSHA safety techniques, including proper PPE.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS office applications.
• Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety.
