Position Summary
We are currently in search of a full-time Emergency Department (ED) Staff Registered Nurse. This role offers comprehensive benefits, including a competitive 401K retirement plan with up to a 3% employer match.
Relocation Support
Assistance for relocation is available for qualified candidates.
Work Schedule
This position entails working three 12-hour shifts during the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours while being compensated for 40 hours.
Key Responsibilities
The Staff Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
1. Delivering professional nursing care by supporting, planning, directing, communicating, and evaluating patient care across all age groups.
2. Demonstrating both personal and professional development while maintaining competent nursing practices.
Qualifications
Education
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Licensure
- Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in Wisconsin.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Current certification or eligibility for ACLS, TNCC/CALS, and Neonatal certifications.
Experience
- Basic ECG monitoring experience is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing is necessary. Previous experience in Critical Care or Emergency Care is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in personal computers and relevant software applications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Additional Information
All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and physical evaluation at the time of hire.
