Job SummaryThis position involves assisting in various areas of the Food Service Department, including the cafeteria, host/hostess, tray line, dish room, or patient meals. Your primary responsibilities will include planning, cooking, and preparing food for service to all customers, including patients and cafeteria patrons.
You will provide quality customer service by reading patient meal tickets and preparing trays accurately. Additionally, you will deliver meals to patient rooms and remove trays upon completion of the meal. You will also prepare food items for the cafeteria and label them appropriately.
- Prepare and serve food to patients and visitors.
- Deliver meals to patient rooms and remove trays upon completion.
- Maintain a clean kitchen and handle food items according to procedures.
- Keep workstations and floors clean, and take out trash regularly.
