We are seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team at She Recruits, LLC. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our metal components.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and materials.
- Perform welding and fitting tasks using various methods, including FCAW and stick welding.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fabricate and assemble metal components.
- Measure and inspect completed workpieces using precision instruments, such as micrometers.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of welds and perform necessary repairs or modifications.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a welder/fitter or similar role.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including FCAW and stick welding.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
- Ability to solder, weld, and fabricate sheet metal components.
- Experience working with ductwork is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
