Overview:

The Revenue Optimization Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing pricing strategies and availability for Hertz Global Holdings. This position involves crafting strategies, generating reports, and conducting analyses to monitor, regulate, and enhance revenue management practices and profitability. Collaborating with various stakeholders, this role will support the assessment and refinement of Revenue Management methodologies while also facilitating the transition to new processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a strategic revenue plan utilizing analytics to drive profit enhancement and growth in revenue share across targeted segments and markets.
  • Develop a mix optimization strategy based on critical segmentation factors, including product, channel, and customer demographics, to achieve objectives related to Revenue Per Day (RPD), Revenue Per Vehicle/Unit (RPV/U), and market share.
  • Analyze market conditions, geographic regions, competitive landscape, and overall business trends pertinent to revenue management.
  • Establish expertise in revenue management automation, overseeing the management of detailed rate/decision rules that inform pricing automation, while ensuring quality control of automated processes.
  • Oversee all administrative functions related to revenue management within the North American Division.
  • Foster strong relationships with corporate and field personnel, addressing inquiries from the field effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related or analytical field is required.
  • Relevant business experience is necessary, including internships or part-time roles during or after undergraduate studies.
  • Experience in pricing, yield, or quantitative marketing environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Rent-A-Car or travel industry is advantageous.
  • Solid grasp of economic principles and pricing/yield management concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly evolving work environment.
