This is a hybrid role based out of our San Diego, CA office, seeking individuals with 1-2 years of insurance experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Support: Assist in directing day-to-day activities and workflow assigned to Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant.
- Policy Processing: Process policy endorsements, carrier audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and lost policy releases accurately and within required timeframes.
- Document Preparation: Prepare check requests, invoices, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and other documents as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide support in the new business or renewal business workflow, and maintain frequent, transparent communication with the account team regarding individual and team client service and policy administration activities.
- Data Entry and Maintenance: Enter and maintain accurate data in agency management systems, other agency-supported systems, and carrier/vendor online platforms.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain activity/suspense, taking required action to ensure completion within required timeframes.
- 2+ years of industry experience or 5+ years of related experience in customer service.
- Good understanding of what an insurance brokerage is and does.
- All required active licensing.
- Excellent administrative, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Outstanding verbal/written communication skills.
- PC proficiency, including basic knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Exceptional personal character.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
