Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Huntington Retirement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medical questionnaires to patients and visitors, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Conduct temperature checks using forehead, tympanic, and/or oral thermometers, following manufacturer's instructions and CDC guidelines.
  • Report cases of positive and negative responses according to established protocols.
  • Communicate findings to Leads and document results of medical screenings.
  • Translate for providers and office staff as needed.
  • Make changes to appointment types as necessary, while maintaining polite and clear communication with patients.
  • Ensure the registration and lobby areas are well-maintained and welcoming.
  • Provide exceptional patient experience, greeting and signing in patients, and answering and screening telephone calls.
  • Attend meetings as required and notify the Office Manager of any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Vaccination against COVID-19, including booster shots, and proof of vaccination.
  • Flexible schedule and full-time availability.
  • Must clear Live Scan background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bilingual: Spanish, preferred but not required.

Pay Scale: $17 - $18 / hour, depending on location, work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
