About the RoleThis full-time or part-time opportunity will involve working closely with our culinary team to present nutritious and delicious meals to our residents. As a senior living community specializing in assisted living and memory care, we offer a unique and supportive environment that fosters growth and development. With a focus on providing high-quality care, our team members play a crucial role in helping each resident live a life of purpose.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the culinary team in preparing and serving fresh, temperature-appropriate meals to residents.
- Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Interact with residents, understanding their preferences and dietary needs, and adapting to their requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Basic culinary skills and comfort working in a kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with residents and team members.
- A calm demeanor under pressure, ensuring efficient service delivery during peak periods.
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and priorities.
