Job Title: Youth Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Care Worker to join our team at Kids Above All. As a Youth Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for adolescent residents in our group home settings.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and monitoring residents, enforcing policies and rules, and working collaboratively with other staff to plan and supervise recreational and leisure time activities. You will also be responsible for making decisions regarding resident activities and behaviors, maintaining proper privacy and security, and teaching life skills to residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor residents to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Enforce policies and rules to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to plan and supervise recreational and leisure time activities.
  • Make decisions regarding resident activities and behaviors.
  • Maintain proper privacy and security of residents and staff.
  • Teach life skills to residents.
Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • 0-3 years of experience working with teens in a social service setting (not required).
  • Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to reside in Illinois.
