Autism Intervention Specialist Opportunity

Cortica is a leading provider of advanced neurological therapies for children with autism and other developmental differences.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Autism Intervention Specialist to provide play-based ABA therapy to our families in the home, community, school, or clinic. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), therapists, counselors, pediatricians, and nurse practitioners to deliver life-changing care to children with autism.

This role involves providing direct implementation of behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in both 1:1 and group settings. You will implement positive behavior strategies as developed and analyzed with the BCBA, including antecedent and consequence strategies based on developed treatment plans and strategies with the child's BCBA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in 1:1 and group settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the BCBA
  • Provide direct support to children and their families in the home, community, school, or clinic
  • Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection and session notes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral intervention setting
  • A High School Diploma/GED, bachelor's degree in human services, or related field
  • A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Availability in the early and late afternoons, with occasional Saturday work
  • Current RBT or BCAT certification, or willingness to obtain BCAT credential via Cortica's paid training program within the first 45 days of employment
