Truck Maintenance Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at the City of Racine. The successful candidate will have a minimum of four years of progressive truck mechanic experience or construction equipment maintenance background.
The salary for this position is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
**Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, and construction equipment
- Analyze and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures and defects
- Use OEM diagnostic software to repair engine and transmission failures
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and time spent on job
**Requirements:
- Journeyman truck mechanic certification
- ASE certifications from the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (preferred)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent required
