About This Role

This Outside Sales Manager position offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team at Spectrum. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of a geographically assigned sales team that sells best-in-class services to our residential customers. Your primary goal will be to support the growth and development of your team while ensuring they meet and exceed their sales targets.

Responsibilities
As an Outside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for creating excitement and energy within your team, building and leading them to achieve success. You will possess strong project management skills and be able to prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will have the ability to identify knowledge and training gaps within your team and develop plans to address them. You will also be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training Residential Connectivity Sales staff, setting clear expectations, and holding employees accountable when expectations are not met in a consistent and fair manner.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should also have strong technical and computer skills, as well as the ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle. In addition, you must be able to complete documentation accurately and have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within Company required standards and auto insurance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, or equivalent work experience is preferred. At least 2 years of Outside Sales or related work experience is also necessary. Preference will be given to candidates with sales supervisory experience and knowledge of direct sales practices, consumer education of products and services, and cable or telecommunications services.
