Job Overview

Position Type: Full-Time

Shift: 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will engage in TIG and/or MIG welding and associated fabrication tasks on intricate components, including drawers and cabinets. Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and maintaining welding apparatus.
  • Utilizing fixtures or table setups with clamps or angle plates to achieve precise shapes and dimensions.
  • Executing welding processes while adhering to tight tolerances to minimize warpage and distortion.
  • Preparing and cleaning components for welding through methods such as wire brushing, abrasive shot blasting, and solvent cleaning.
  • Straightening parts that may have been distorted during machining or welding.
  • Applying metal flame spray after cleaning and shot-blasting.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in TIG and/or MIG welding on materials such as aluminum, steel, or stainless steel.
  • Understanding of various metal types and their properties.
  • Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, chisels, squares) and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, scales).
  • Familiarity with welding symbols and blueprints.
  • Ability to interpret fabrication instructions and follow both written and verbal directives.
Educational Background:

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
