We are seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team at VCA Shaker Animal Hospital as a Kennel Attendant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain the kennel area, including cages, bedding, and equipment.
- Provide fresh water and food to patients.
- Assist with laundry and dishwashing.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum hospital premises.
- Stock treatment areas with medical supplies.
- Assist veterinarians, technicians, and assistants with daily tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
