Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Administrator to join our team at Glow Networks. This role is critical in managing and optimizing the product lifecycle using Siemens Teamcenter.

Position Details

  • Compensation: $48 W2
  • Employment Type: Contractor position, no benefits
Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting multiple instances of the Siemens Teamcenter application.
  • Performing maintenance, patching, and upgrades to the core Teamcenter application.
  • Configuring integrations with third-party tools.
  • Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Conducting system monitoring to ensure hardware and network integrity.
  • Reviewing logs and ensuring the completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Managing software installations, upgrades, and licenses.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assisting in network modeling and analysis.
  • Supporting client-side application installations and configurations.
  • Providing troubleshooting support using application and system logs.
  • Participating in collaborative meetings for requirement gathering and support.
  • Documenting processes and keeping records updated.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proficient in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of REST, DNS, Java, UNIX, and APIs.
  • Experience in system design and administration.
  • Familiarity with firewall configurations and IT infrastructure.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Teamcenter administration.
  • Proven ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility for weekend deployments and on-call support.
