As a skilled MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This role requires excellent communication skills, a calm demeanor, and the ability to work effectively with patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Position patients correctly for imaging, using your knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging principles
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients throughout the procedure
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- 1-2 years of recent experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field
- Active license or accreditation in one of the 50 US states
- Additional certifications or requirements as specified by the facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
