Position Summary

This position involves managing straightforward, non-technical claims-related tasks while adhering to established quality, productivity, and procedural standards. The role encompasses handling a single line of claims or a mix from various segments, with a focus on delivering empathetic service that is prompt, equitable, and straightforward to enhance customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete necessary documentation, log files into the system, and direct them to the relevant parties.
  • Generate and dispatch required forms to insured individuals or claimants for their completion.
  • Engage with customers or other third parties involved in claims to gather and provide essential information in compliance with quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain a connection with customers by understanding and addressing their needs.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and electronic communications by screening and routing them appropriately.
  • Retrieve, print, fax, or mail supporting documents to vendors or other parties as instructed.
  • Handle claim files, including locating, requesting, filing paperwork, reconstructing missing files, and correcting misfiled documents.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, managing emails, and calendar coordination.
Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory duties.
