Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care and education in our oncology department. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work closely with physicians and RNs to administer chemotherapy agents, prepare chemotherapy agents, perform patient assessments, document medical records, and educate patients and families.
Responsibilities- Administer chemotherapy agents and prepare chemotherapy agents
- Perform patient assessments and triage
- Document medical records
- Provide patient and family education
- Active Florida LPN license required
- Experience in IV therapy in clinic or hospital preferred
- Prior Oncology experience preferred
- 30 hour IV certification course or completion of 30 hour IV certification course within 90 days of employment
- Current CPR and BLS certification required
- Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license in the resident state to travel to clinics
