Overview

At Suburban Propane, we're committed to providing our customers with exceptional service and support. As a Local Delivery Driver, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the energy they need to power their homes and businesses.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Fuel Safely and Efficiently: You'll be responsible for delivering fuel to our customers' homes and businesses in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain Vehicle and Equipment: You'll be responsible for maintaining the delivery truck, including reviewing maintenance records, performing inspections, and reporting any issues that require attention.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: You'll be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service to our customers and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Manage Inventory and Funds: You'll be responsible for managing inventory and funds using a user-friendly handheld terminal.

Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL): You'll need a minimum of a Class B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
  • Ability to Lift and Pull Equipment: You'll need to be able to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 pounds.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills: You'll need to have exceptional customer service skills and be able to provide a high level of service to our customers.
