Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Life Care Center of Lewiston, Idaho. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care to our patients during the admission and readmission process.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately prepare, administer, store, and document medications as per facility policies and physician orders.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procedures to prevent medication errors.
  • Report medication errors immediately and ensure that no medication is administered without a written, signed, and dated order from an attending physician.
  • Chart patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform CNA functions as directed by supervisor and provide excellent customer service to patients.
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients and demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
  • One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
  • Completed a State-approved program and exam for Certified Medication Aide.
