Social Work Clinician

This is an entry-level position in the field of pediatric social work, requiring a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide psychosocial interventions to patients and their families, addressing a range of biopsychosocial issues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of patients and families to identify social, emotional, and physical needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, coordinating referrals to specialty services and social programs as needed.
- Provide supportive counseling, grief counseling, crisis intervention, and other therapeutic services to patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Participate in quality assurance and community improvement initiatives related to social work services.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- At least 5 years of full-time social work experience, including work with children and families in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of social work theories, principles, and techniques, as well as effective assessment, interviewing, and counseling methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
