About the Role

Kranze Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of complex military hardware and software systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Conduct cybersecurity engineering research and provide recommendations for the implementation of security mechanisms in company products
  • Collaborate with end users, customers, software developers, and systems engineers to implement cybersecurity requirements
  • Provide actionable guidance and prototyped solutions to hardware and software developers to improve product security posture
  • Contribute to the development of deliverable cybersecurity documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a S.T.E.M. related field with 5+ years of experience
  • DoD 8570 IASAE Level II certification
  • Linux systems administration experience
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and standards
  • Proficiency with routers, managed switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Knowledge of modern encryption techniques
  • Experience with PKI, including certificate generation, distribution, storage, usage, and revocation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance (United States Government requires United States citizenship)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Secret DoD security clearance
  • Experience with NSA's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program
  • Experience with NIAP protection profiles for cybersecurity components
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools for Android
  • Experience with the Samsung Knox framework
  • Experience with Data at Rest (DAR) techniques and requirements
  • Experience with hardware root of trust and secure boot system implementations
