Position Overview:
As a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist to support the delivery of physical therapy services to adult patients. Your role will involve assisting in the implementation of treatment plans and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in executing established therapy treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions under the guidance of a licensed therapist.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in accordance with professional standards and departmental protocols.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $38.78

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary.
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.

Physical Requirements:
This position involves frequent bending and stooping. Candidates must possess effective communication skills, both auditory and visual, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to write clearly. The role may require lifting, pushing, or pulling weights and exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
