Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and diligent Laundry Service Specialist who is passionate about ensuring our guests enjoy a remarkable experience at our establishment. This role involves a range of responsibilities including washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens, while also engaging with guests to provide a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort linens to identify and treat stains using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Load laundry into washing machines and add cleaning agents as instructed.
  • Oversee laundry equipment functionality and report any maintenance needs to the facilities manager.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and inform the Director of Suite Operations when supplies are low.
  • Dry linens according to specified cycles and treat stained items accordingly.
  • Complete the daily shift checklist to maintain operational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to consistently lift 20 pounds or more.
  • Strong work ethic complemented by excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a laundry attendant, housekeeping, or similar position is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and products.
