Service Center Associate

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at KJ's Market as a Service Center Clerk PT. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:- Ensure that our guests service standards are met at all times, maintaining a clean and clutter-free front end and parking lot.
- Manage customer traffic flow, interact with guests, and monitor productivity to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
- Work with the Store Manager and Guest Service Manager to schedule staff to meet labor guides and provide the desired level of service.
- Train cashiers to call additional hosts to the front end as needed, handling guest and host requests, refunds, overrides, and check approvals promptly and professionally.
- Be a positive role model for all front-end hosts, demonstrating excellent speech, manner, dress, hygiene, and integrity.
- Monitor and enforce all front-end policies related to Asset Protection and Shrink Control.
- Provide training and direction to hosts not meeting front-end standards.
- Communicate problem areas and employees not meeting performance standards to the Guest Service Manager.
- Offer constant on-the-job feedback to front-end hosts to maintain front-end service levels.
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
- Ability to read and understand information and direction.
- Knowledge of front-end operations.
- Ability to supervise hosts, including training and development.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
- Effective communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Demonstrate successful use of math skills.
- Ability to work well with computers.
