Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport residents to various scheduled activities and special events.
  • Ensure the safe return of all residents to the facility after outings.
  • Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle as necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle through regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • Identify and report any mechanical issues and assist in coordinating repairs as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience operating large vehicles, including vans, trucks, or buses.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license suitable for operating the organization's vehicle.
  • Demonstrated safe driving record in compliance with company policies.
  • Able to maintain focus while driving, despite potential distractions from passengers or the environment.
