Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse

OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled and dedicated travel nurse to join our team as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse. This exciting opportunity is available in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and offers a chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CVOR nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures
  • Assist physicians during procedures by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and applying dressings
  • Participate in the sedation of patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Document patient information and progress accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan
  • Experience in CVOR nursing, preferably in a travel setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
