Your Impact
Responsibilities
- Support in maximizing sales and achieving store target objectives by fostering a productive environment, ensuring the store team possesses the knowledge and skills to meet sales and customer engagement goals.
- Assist in overseeing payroll while safeguarding the business's needs.
- Lead and motivate a customer-focused culture by acknowledging and rewarding team successes.
- Actively represent the brand within the community by seeking opportunities to engage with customers and support or participate in community initiatives beyond the store.
- In collaboration with the store manager, provide leadership to ensure comprehensive training and ongoing development of the store team in customer engagement and all company programs, policies, and procedures.
- Partner with the Store Manager to achieve all financial and operational goals, including expense management, loss prevention, store audits, and weekly report reviews.
- Ensure the integrity of the store's inventory is maintained.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on implementing visual merchandising directives and maintaining standards aligned with company brand strategies.
- Work with the Store Manager to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and practices regarding loss prevention, safety, and compliance; protect company assets.
- Exemplify behavior that respects the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and cultural differences of others while upholding the integrity and values of VF Corporation and the brand.

Required
- 1+ years of management experience in a dynamic, engaging retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that meets business needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proven track record of achieving business goals through effective team leadership.
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge about products, local community, and relevant experiences.
- Desire to deliver an engaging customer experience through personalized service, conversation, and relationship building.
- Strong decision-making skills in a fast-paced setting.

- Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and software applications.
- Experience in a specialty retail environment, particularly in the footwear/apparel sector.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to operate office equipment and technology (i.e., computers, tablets, phones, copier, etc.).
- Standing required for the entire work shift.
- Bend, lift, open, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Use ladders for visual merchandising, light adjustments, and window banner placement.
