Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform various medical procedures, such as drawing blood, inserting IV lines, and performing EKGs and telemetry monitoring.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, including teaching them about their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Participate in code blue and other emergency situations, providing critical care to patients in need.
- Document patient care and treatment in the medical record, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with current licensure in good standing.
- At least one year of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification, with TNCC preferred.
