About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Interim HealthCare Duluth. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, including personal care and hygiene needs, in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assist with daily needs, such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
  • Support patients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Monitor patient vitals, intake/output, and blood glucose levels, and document any changes.
  • Observe patient conditions and notify supervisors of any issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Minnesota.
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in a medical facility.
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
