About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Retina Specialist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive examinations of the visual system to determine the nature or extent of ocular disorders.
- Diagnose or treat injuries, disorders, and diseases of the eye, with a specific focus on retinal disease.
- Develop treatment plans based on patient histories and goals, the nature and severity of disorders, and treatment risks and benefits.
- Prescribe and administer topical or systemic medications to treat ophthalmic conditions and to manage pain.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of health professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Requirements:
- Must have completed both a residency in ophthalmology, as well as a retina fellowship.
- Surgical training and surgical experience post-fellowship preferred.

- Hourly Amount: $180.00
