Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Backroom Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls. As a Backroom Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to provide an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Merchandising: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
  • Associate Support: Ensure Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and provide training and mentorship on merchandising and processing principles.
  • Customer Experience: Engage and interact with all customers to provide an excellent customer experience, and maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, and maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Backroom Operations: Maintain and uphold organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
  • Communication: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, and provide progress updates.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
