Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Food Service Associate to join our team at Morrison Healthcare. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care through the delivery of high-quality food and nutrition services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take patient menu selections prior to each meal and assemble trays according to their preferences
  • Comply with dietary restrictions and offer alternatives to menu items as needed
  • Interact with nursing staff to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and their food needs are met
  • Retrieve trays from patients' rooms and maintain accurate and current information for each patient
  • Assist dietitian with monitoring of patients who are NPO, on liquid diets or have a calorie count ordered
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
